The ¿ìè¶ÌÊÓƵ (BSSS) is committed to supporting members experiencing financial hardship and the BSSS Hardship Fund has been set-up to continue our commitment to support members through times of need.Ìý
The fund is designed to assist current members, with at least 12 monthsÌýcontinuous membership, who would like to remain as a member but would otherwise be unable to due to financial difficulties. For example, a member who is suffering from ill-health, whose earnings are impacted as a result, and who cannot afford to pay the annual fee.Ìý
The Society will support a maximum of ten applications per annum. Successful applicants can re-apply for the fund for a maximum of three years but are not guaranteed funding for years two and three as this will be dependent on other applications received. Successful applicants will be permitted a maximum of three years of funding, even if there has been a break between applications.Ìý
